Accounting & Billing Clerk / Payroll & AP Clerk

Currently we are looking for an Accounting/Billing Clerk 
Job responsibilities in the position will include:

  • Processing orders for revenue recognition and driver commissions
  • Researching additional services performed by drivers to maximize revenue
  • Applying and balancing payments from NAVL/SIRVA (parent company)
  • Creating and invoicing local work orders
  • Preparing deposits for funds collected
  • Assisting Customer Service in calling customers when needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

To be successful in the position you should possess the following qualifications:

  •  A minimum of 2 years prior accounting/billing experience
  •  Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
  •  Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  •  Prior experience in the Moving or Transportation industry is helpful but not required
  •  Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; particularly Outlook, Word & Excel.
  •  Knowledge of general office machines and telephone systems
  •  Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
  • High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information


We are also looking for a Payroll /  Accounts Payable Clerk

The individual will work under the general supervision of the Human Resources and Accounts Payable managers as they work to apply sound payroll management and accounts payable practices.
Tasks:
• Assisting with processing payroll in a timely manner
• Reconcile payroll to general ledger and 941's
• Account analysis for payroll related accounts
• Assist with receptionist duties
• Assist the Accounts Payable department
• Various other duties/projects as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
• 2 years' experience (college degree preferred but not required)
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus
• Solid payroll analysis skills
• Detailed oriented
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Must be a self starter with the ability to work independently
• Able to demonstrate professionalism, integrity and the ability to work effectively with all members of the organization
