Direct Support Professionals (DSP) - Transitional School Services (Disabilities, Education and Vocational Services, Social Services)

Perspectives Corporation has year round part time positions to work in our Transitional School Service program. Our school programming is highly individualized as we ensure that the identified goals in a student's Individual Education Plan are carried out across all environments and settings.
Responsibilies include focusing on the vocational needs of students who are in their final years of high school, where we arrange internships with businesses throughout Rhode Island; creating a classroom in the community, one that enhances a student's future work potential and prepares them and their families for the upcoming transition to adulthood. Typical schedules are Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-3pm.
- Must have proof of an Associates Degree or a minimum of 60 college credits and currently enrolled, or Para-Professional Certification
- Must have a valid driver's license,access to an insured vehicle, and a favorable driving record
- Must have a favorble criminal background check, DCYF clearance and fingerprint results
- Must be 18 years of age or older
